Kinsale Arts Week is a multi-discinplinary Arts Festival. It commissions new work in all genres and supports both established and emerging artists.
The programme features Local, National, and International work including Visual Art, Theatre, Music, Literature, Film, Dance, Architecture, and Family Entertainment. There is a keen emphasis on community involvement in the Festival with many Users of the community engaged in year-round Festival projects. Local artists also have the oppertunity to showcase their work. The Festival seeks to use all possible performance spaces in the historic town including the harbour, the streets, boats, churches and unusual spaces. The audience at home and from abroad are invited to experience the festival and celebreate creativity.

Fucking hell…. €28 for the HBE…. thats rediculous. Although they are amazing, but come on… everyone’s broke these days.
saw them for 12euro in limerick last week, they sold out the gig and were excellent.
Where can I get a ticket for teh HBE? Ticket Master do not have them on sale
Hi Monkey, just wanted to respond to your post to say that we appreciate your point about the cost of tix for HBE and to assure you that we endeavour to keep our prices as low as possible. In this case the venue is very special and the cost of putting on a gig in such a place is much greater than in a purpose built venue where the ticket price can be lower. Keep an eye and ear out over the next while for ticket giveaways and competitions – you might be lucky. If anyone fancies a treat though I must say that Hypnotic Brass Ensemble are worth every penny.

Charles Fort is an an amazing setting for a gig – saw Imelda May there last year was a great experience.
