The INDIE-PENDENCE Festival will again take over Mitchelstown, Co. Cork for the August bank holiday weekend allowing up and coming independent Irish acts to play alongside recognised headliners outside the usual indie cliques. The natural amphitheatrical venue allows everyone from die-hard indie kids to sing-along music fans to enjoy the quality acts on show and all the facilities the town has to offer.
With the likes of The Blizzards and Cathy Davey already announced, the line-up for this year’s INDIE-PENDENCE Festival has become even stronger. Additions to the line-up include Tipperary songstress Gemma Hayes, Dublin rockers The Kinetiks, Cork’s Rulers of the Planet and Hope is Noise and Limerick’s We Should Be Dead along with many more listed below. The line-up for Ireland’s only free independent music festival is now complete on the main stage but more additional gigs will be added in the coming weeks. The complete main stage listing includes;
